November 7- Pay it forward

Over the last 15 years or so, I’ve been able to do this on several occasions in regards to fitness and weight loss. Not so much pay forward what others poured into me, because I’m mostly a self made woman in these areas-though my FIL did pay for my first gym membership in 2003, and Jillian Michaels has helped me indirectly -But more share my passion and what I’d learned and was continuing to learn and, by doing so, help others along their journeys.

  • I’ve directly created a formula to help a few folks lose weight ( one lost 85 lbs in 7 mos) which was awesome!
  • I created an online community for accountability, encouragement, and recipe sharing that had a pretty active 6 months or so (maybe longer, I’m not sure).
  • I share my story, my successes, my struggles, and have been told that it helps others keep pushing. One of the most meaningful things I’ve ever been told was that someone thought about quitting during a workout and the told themselves “no! Mae wouldn’t quit!” So cool.

All this is not to toot my horn, but to encourage you to keep fighting, and not be afraid to share-you never know the impact you could make!
